Vehicle Eligibility

Only right-hand drive cars from any year, subject to the rules below are eligible for import.

Left-hand drive. Vehicles under 25 years old must meet FMVSS and EPA rules, or enter under the show and display exemption. Engines and parts are not restricted the same way.

Can I import a car younger than 25 years?

Only if it meets FMVSS and EPA requirements or qualifies for the show and display exemption. Most buyers import at 25 years, when the vehicle becomes exempt.

Can I import engines and parts?

Yes. Engines shipped as parts rather than complete vehicles are not subject to the 25-year rule, which is why the parts side suits this market.
